With the blessings of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj, there was a grand celebration of the Bal Samagam In London for the whole of South England on Sunday, 25th May 2014. Bal Sangat members from the tender age of 3 till 18 yrs contributed with Zeal and bhakti bhavna in the Annual Bal Samagam. The topic of the Samagam Was Human Values In Children. The emphasis was laid by all the young saints on the importance and the need of Human Values in today's time. They shared Satguru's vision to inculcate the true human values from a very young age in order to become a good human being as they grow older. The young saints mentioned about the importance of Satsang and the spiritual learning, to have a positive impact on the child's life and hence satsang is laying the path of human values. Satguru baba ji is showing us this direction to enhance the quality of our lives and become an asset to our families, society and the country. The entire experience during the bal samagam was filled with wise thoughts shared by young children primarily in hindi, punjabi and english in the form of devotional songs, skits, dance drama, kavi darbar and speeches. Being born and brought up in England and yet an ability to communicate in hindi and punjabi is a clear indication of the learning that the children are receiving from sangat along with spirituality. The group items was a collaborative effort of the young saints. One of the main message given in one of the group plays was the comparison between animals and humans. Young infants and toddlers dressed up as different animals, showed their roles and yet the human was lost. The message was that the animals do not need to be taught to behave like animals but the humans need to be reminded about their human values constantly. It was a combination of innocence, purity and an effort to learn these values from this tender age which also inspired the parents of Bal sangat saints and the sadh sangat as a whole.
