People are having more material possessions now a days but what is their state of mind? It is said: Even the sinners have wives, children’s and wealth, but company of saints and spiritual discourses are rare. What is meant is that even thieves and dacoits have material possessions but to be in the company of saints is a rare possession. Therefore holy beings wish for an increase in the number of such people whose contribution is really beneficial to the world.

In India the young devotees, whenever they attend the congregation or meet each other, they bow reverence; their body language too projects humility. But after going abroad when they meet, they bow their heads just a little with chewing gums in their mouth and hands in their pockets. What a contrast! We should maintain the spirit of love and reverence. Every country has its culture, but the devotees should not deviate from their path. When we interact with the locals and friends, we may behave the way they do but when a devotee meets another devotee, they should conduct ourselves as devotees. They should be conscious that they are devotees and use reverential words. Especially little children and the young may love one another.
