We are all the members of one common family whose father is this universal Father, the God almighty. Therefore, there is no space for hating each other. If we are truly the children of God, why then should we hate each other? Never. Rather, he will be in pain to see his children fighting with each other, killing one another, committing so many brutalities. That is not the way to make the Lord, God Almighty happy. As we see, people have certain beliefs that they are doing the work of God by committing brutalities, butchering people, taking lives of innocents including infants. No, this is definitely not the way to appease the God Almighty, the Universal Father. The holy scriptures, saints and sages, since time immemorial, have always mentioned that God is happy when we shower love, when we have compassion in our hearts and when we always come forward to serve others. Most people filled with selfishness. But, the selfless service is of paramount importance. It is always on the higher plane. Man is truly alive if he is doing things for others selflessly and taking another step forward--- and that is more important—to serve others, work for others knowing well that they are not able to pay back. That is the true selfless feeling.

Once I happened to be in a mall in Dubai along with some saints, suddenly a fire broke out in the adjoining hotel. We could clearly see the fire. We were dining in the open and everybody looked uneasy worrying as to what would follow next. People had made it to this place, travelling thousands of miles to watch the fireworks specially organized for the new year eve. This annual event is famous worldwide. People were apprehensive that because of the fire works at Burj Khalifa may end the event and may be cancelled. But the authorities there decided to continue with the fire works. It was an odd situation when people standing outside the mall looked to the left, they would see raging fire and when they looked right , they would see new year fire works, people dancing and enjoying and wishing a happy new year to each other. We were simultaneously viewing both these aspects of joy and pain. Our own life is very much like this with different facets but those who maintain their balance they emerge stronger. We get this strength from all powerful God. We get this strength by adopting human values and we keep getting God’s compassion and blessings.
