Spiritual Achievements Are Superior To worldly Achievements
The success of a man’s life in true sense, is not because of his worldly achievements. However, often it happens to be the criteria to judge someone as successful or unsuccessful. The saints viewpoint towards success in life has been that if life is colored with devotional love, soaked with divine knowledge and is a living example for others, than one has truly attained success. Since ages, saints and sages have been having the same considered viewpoint about success in life that if the soul is connected with the Super Soul, and one treads life in the light of the knowledge of omnipresent God, the life becomes successful even if one does not make worldly achievements, if despite worldly achievements spirituality does not get strengthened, then these achievements fail to provide comfort and peace. If the spiritual aspect of life becomes strong, no sorrow, no deficiency in life can make one feel dejected.
Make This Earth A Heaven
We should make bridges and we ourselves should become bridges. We ourselves need to become bridges to unite people. A bridge connects two sides and that is expected from us is to become instrumental in bringing people closer to forge unity. Here, saints are creating this awareness and in fact since ages, saints and sages had been making these efforts. Did they ever try to create distances between human? No, they tried to distance man from ignorance, contrarian feelings and narrow mindedness. They did not create distances between men but created bridges to fill the gulf between men and rather, they themselves became the bridges to unite men. That is how they united the mankind. A common thread can unite different varieties of flowers. Similarly saints and sages united different kind of flowers from God’s garden(men) with the unifying thread of eternal love(God). These united humans adorn/glorify the earth just as a garland knit with different flowers beautifies the neck. We need to follow the footsteps of saints and sages to prove that we are their followers in true sense. Otherwise, today we do claim to be their followers but don’t follow their teachings. We are advised to shun the forbidden path and instead follow the path shown by saints. If they were full of benevolence and compassion, then we should also adopt these divine qualities. If they were full of compassion, then we should also be compassionate. If they were humble for which we still praise those saints and sages, we have to follow the path shown by them, the path on which they paddled. That is how we should be able to make this earth a heaven; that is how we will be seeing peace all around us.
