Do Not Blow Up The Planet Earth
Today man seems to be bent upon destroying the earth. There are the questions of Global Warming and Ecological Imbalance. There is a need to pay attention to the imbalance, resulting in rising calamities. If we ponder, man is responsible for it - exploitation of the natural resources, killing of the endangered species for their skin and ivory, felling of trees, etc. There are many such aspects and it is man who is responsible for all this. In other words, it is the ugly face of man which is causing harm to fellowmen and the nature. Holy beings draw our attention to both these aspects. While launching the campaigns of tree plantation and cleanliness, I had said: Do not blow up the planet earth like which no other planet is beautiful; others are arid. In other words, man should stop fulfilling his selfish aims and think of others, rather of the next generation. Let us think that we too have children who are the next generation and in some cases even grand children. If not for others, let us think of our own family and generation who shall have to suffer on account of our causing harm to themselves. We think we are gaining but in fact, we are losing.
Saints And Devotees Bear No Ill Will For Anyone
The tolerance level has fallen to an extent that even it has engulfed the society. If we talk about the road rage, one kills another simply because one did not give way to the other. In the family there is a blood relationship and yet we do not tolerate each other. There is intolerance at every step. The devotees were emphasizing that peace should not be confined to cities and countries only but it should also prevail at the local level homes and families. There should be no conflict like 'You and I', bitterness and taunts but there should be sweet behavior, sharing of each other's joy and sorrow, pain and pleasure. However, things are quite different. Tolerance is warning; even a little is not tolerated and is so in almost every field. There is discriminations and intolerance at every step. We can imbibe tolerance when we realize and make the all—pervading God the mainstay of our life and imbibe Him in our head and heart and lead the life of the spirit and adopt saintly disposition. Saints and devotees bear no ill will for anyone. For them none is an alien or foe, rather they carry on with everyone. In other words, they tolerate and own everyone. To imbibe tolerance, realizing God and living up to saintly teachings is the only means.
