Today, man's identity is linked to physical exercises, language and culture, but Holy beings tell us that this is not his real identity. He should know his real identity i.e. real identity 'Self realization through God realization'. Soul or self is a constituent of the Over Soul or God but it does not know its origin. That is why it is oblivious of its true identity. Identifying with the body, the soul regards itself Hindu or Muslim, male of female, child or adult. In this way, these have become the identity of the soul, whereas the soul is a constituent of God. Those who realize this fact, understand that God is not related to a particular caste, community or culture. Then how can a soul be related to a particular caste, community or culture? When the soul realizes its true identity, its delusion is dispelled and it is liberated from all bonds. Liberation from the bonds results in dispelling of delusions. We remain in bondage so long as we are deluded. Shed all delusions, remember God. This is true religion.

Ignorance is the root cause of all misconceptions. Where there is ignorance, there is misconception: where there are misconceptions, there is bondage. The bondage can be broken when the misconceptions are dispelled. How can the misconceptions be dispelled? Misconceptions can be dispelled by attaining God-Knowledge. With the light of God-Knowledge, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled and then it is all light. The bondage of the soul is very strong: The body is born again and again, It is a severe and long punishment. It is the birth death cycle. Says Lord Krishna that a soul puts on bodies as we change clothes. Clothes change, but our body remains same. Similarly, the soul puts on several bodies. The bodies go on changing and this process goes on. So long as there is ignorance and illusion, the soul remains mired in the birth-death cycle until a True Master breaks the bondage by uniting the soul with God.
