Not To Take The Major Task Of Life Lightly
You have been given this long life but it is your misfortune that you could not achieve the life's objective. There are achievements in the worldly terms but man is still considered unfortunate. When there are worldly achievements people consider a person very fortunate and mention his achievements in different ways. But Farid ji says that he is very unfortunate. Saints are awakening us towards the importance of the crucial aspect of life. If this aspect remains unaccomplished, everything else is of no use. When a tree falls down from a tree branch, no effort of a man can re affix it there. If you have a casual approach and don't take it seriously, it will be a losing bargain. If you make use of this opportunity you would be benefited here and hereafter. When the guest (messenger of death) comes knocking, man can't do anything at that time as he is breathing his last breaths. Therefore, one is warned not to take this major task lightly. All other worldly things which man is enjoying, are attainable in other body forms also. If even after having been blessed with human birth, one remains engrossed in vices day and night and simply busy enjoying material things, he is no different from other forms of life. If you remain ignorant or careless about this aspect, you are a loser. This attainment and redemption from the cycle of life and death is imperative.
By Meeting Enlightened ones, Difficult Task Becomes Easy
Children go to school for studies and the teachers are there to teach. The only concern in the school is studying and teaching. Who cares for the caste there. Neither the teacher nor the students in the school are identified by caste. The only concern is the subject knowledge. If a patient complains to a doctor about stomach-ache, he would never distinguish the patient on the basis of caste and would never prescribe a different medicine to a Brahmin (person of a higher caste) than the one prescribed to a shudra (a person of lower caste). The syllabus and books for a particular subject are the same for students of all castes. A teacher of English is capable of teaching English provided he knows his subject. Similarly, there is no question of a caste interfering between a doctor and the patient. But as soon as we are on the subject of spirituality, God realization piety, or redemption of soul, the question of caste raises its head. But, when we happen to meet the enlightened ones, this difficult task becomes easy and we don't have to wander here and there for its search.
