Saints don't attached to objects and favourable situations, rather, they give importance to 'Nirankar' in their lives. They don't say the circumstances are not favourable or I did not get what I wished for and so there is no God. Rather, they say-I got what I wished for and circumstances are favourable; so God exists. If ever a saint has to choose between God and material comforts, he chooses God. You have heard of an example ' Wife asks her husband to get her something and if by chance he doesn't get it, the wife would not say that he was not her spouse. If she says this, it would mean that she is not attached to her husband but to the gifts. Saints, when we are no expectations, we are at peace. While in this world, we need to work for a living and gracefully live the relationships, gifted by God, yet we must give priority to God. Saints give preference to God while fulfilling the worldly relations beautifully.

Modern scientific techniques have invented messengers in the shape of Blackberry, Yahoo and the like which have become popular and attract our attention. First came the computers, followed by desktops and laptops and then small sized mobiles. Every now and then we look at the screen. We give importance to the messages received and readily respond to them with due interest. On the other hand, God also sends His messengers from time to time, with the invaluable message but we feel unconcerned with its significance in our life. There is essentially a need to listen and understand the messengers of God with the same frequency with which we read messages on mobile screen. We have the advantage of inheriting a large number of sacred scriptures (Message of God), but it is unfortunate that we are deprived of the spiritual bliss that flows from these because we do not study and follow them.
