Humanity and Divinity
Our attitude should not be such that if someone is doing
something wrong, we take it as a license to do the same. Simply to follow others enjoying wrong acts. We sometimes
find that some person is flourishing despite doing wrong while another person who is following a righteous path,
is suffering. At that time, we may find the wrong path attractive and even think why should we do good. But after
sometime, we come to know that if we do something wrong intentionally, we develop a feeling of guilt. We lose our
happiness thinking that we have deliberately nagged someone and put him to inconvenience. By nature, God has
created man with a potential to become divine. In other words, every soul is potentially divine. As human beings,
we should keep our humanity alive. We should keep it all the time.
Tolerance - A Divine Quality
Saints are ever tolerant. Humility is a part of their
character. Tolerance is a divinely quality of a human being. For example, if one's car slightly collides with
another car in a traffic, quite often an indecent and chaotic atmosphere gets created there. Saintly people,
however, display their tolerance in these situations. Getting off the car, they would offer their apology. Without
creating a fuss, they would give a smiling look even if it is not their fault, considering that they could also
make mistakes. They would instantly solve the matter, not allowing it to escalate further. They do not reply back
harshly and do not hurt anyone with their words. These are the human qualities which refine our life. Saints
always wish that everyone should become tolerant and popular.
