Devotion begins only upon attainment of God-Knowledge. When God is seen and a contact is made with Him, the doors of devotion open. Thereafter, it is only a matter of strengthening ties with Him through a simple method to accompany saints on regular basis and listen to their wisdom words to keep on strengthening spiritual roots. The God connection should be strengthened through God remembrance. The life should be dedicated towards selfless service for the entire mankind. We may call Him by any name, God, Nirankar, etc., this reality was always there and will remain forever.

When the credit of each service is given to God by removing the 'self' from the given task, considering that this task could have been given to others and I am the lucky person for being chosen for this. Then the life becomes full of humility. Those who are living such a life, they do not get affected by evil. When they lose their entity, they realize that this body, mind, intellect, wealth possessed by them is given by God. And when this is surrendered to Him, then nothing belongs to us. Then no harmful thoughts breed in our mind. And even if God takes away what he has given to us, there is no adverse impact on our mind. Today if God has bestowed us with a palatial house and tomorrow we are left with a hut due to worsened financial position, we should always remain grateful to God. We should have a feeling that whatever God thought to be good for us, he gave us.
