One's mouth will not get sweetened by just repeatedly uttering the words ‘Sugar Sugar'. Similarly by merely repeating the name of God will not lead to redemption. Like a man went to a sweet seller's shop and asked for 250 grams of 'barfi'. The sweet seller says, Alright, but first give me money as there is rush of customers in the shop. Some people take away sweets without making payment. So, first give me money than I will give you sweets. The man asked,"How much?". The sweet seller said "Fifty rupees". The man wrote Rs50 on a piece of paper and gave it to the sweet seller. Surprised, the sweet seller asked as to whether it was a currency note or a piece of paper. The man asks sweet seller to read what is written on it. The sweet seller says fifty rupees. And the man then tells sweet seller that since he{sweet seller} agreed that he{man} paid fifty rupees, he should give him sweets. The sweet seller is trying his best to convince him but the man is not agreeing with him. At last the sweet seller said, "Okay, I will give you sweets". He also wrote on a piece of paper '250 grams barfi' and gave that to the man. Similarly, a wife once said to her husband,' I am very happy today. I saw a dream that you had bought a diamond necklace for me'. The husband said, absolutely right! When you sleep tonight, you will be wearing the necklace in your dream. So can mere talking bring results? Can we attain redemption only by uttering God's name without perceiving Him. Keeping oneself limited to reading out scriptures will lead us nowhere. But contacting realized souls, God Knowledge can be attained and then we found our ultimate destination.

When there was nothing, neither the world nor this cosmos, universe or galaxies, even than God existed. There was the existence of God and God only and when He made this creation, He continued to exist. We talk of the final destruction of the universe. In case annihilation takes place in future, this creation will be destroyed but the creator will continue to exist. An example is often given that suppose an idea came in your mind and you wrote it down on a black board. Now that it has been written on the black board, it does not mean that it has been erased in your mind. Now even if you wipe off that thought from the black board with a piece of cloth, the thought is still ingrained in your mind. It has not been erased from your mind like that from the black board. Similarly, this God, the Supreme Existence has always been there. One should have a longing to attain this ever-lasting supreme sovereignty. If soul does not attain the knowledge of its source, the super soul, then it will remain in bondage [cycle of birth and rebirth]. The soul will remain caught in the chain of birth and death. So one should attain self realisation.
