Do Good To Wicked
Holy beings teach that one should pray for universal welfare and do good even to the wicked. Who does good to the wicked? It has become a custom to harm the one who does good. Then who will do good to the wicked? All are in the race of selfishness. It is said that in this world there is no true friend. Everyone is engaged in fulfilling one’s self interest and no one is there to help a person in distress. Everyone is interested in himself. If a person helps another in distress, the latter may harm the former. If you pick up a starving dog, tend, nurse and feed it, it will not bite you. But the same cannot be said of a human, who may even stab you on the pretext of shaking hands. We do not find such hypocrisy in animals. If a dog wags its tail, it does so to reflect the feeling of love. On the other hand, if a human embraces you, he may not be wishing well of you. In the prevailing environment in the world, one is obliged to think that animals are better than humans. Holy beings teach that we should shed anger and embrace even the wicked. To what extent do holy beings go to the good? When Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, his last words were: God forgive them [the persecutors] for they know not what they are doing. If they knew, they might not do so. Holy beings wish that man should realize it if he is enlightened and awake. On realizing the truth, he will be redeemed and will also redeem others.
Change Your thought Process And Bring Revolution
Earlier I mentioned at one place how seeds of hatred are sown in children. Once parents of a child requested the Principle that they wanted to see where their child was seated in the school bus and how was the environ-ment in the classroom. They said they would not go inside and disturb and would just look from the entrance of the classroom and go back. The permission was granted. They saw that the teacher was teaching and the children were taking down notes with their heads down. After some time the parents left. And when the school got over and the child returned home in the evening, the parents told the child about their visit to the school and as to how they observed from the entrance of classroom that like everyone, he was writing something with his head down and that’s why he could not see them. So the child asked “how did you feel coming to my class? The father said, “The class was good, but listen, tomorrow you go and tell your Principle to change your seat. The child asked,”why should I asked for changing my seat when I sit with my good friend.” The father cautioned his son that he did not know that the student sitting next to him belonged to a lower caste and he must get his seat changed. Just think about the child who has no consideration of caste and creed. His mind has never gone into that direction. It is the elders who are poisoning his mind. The idea is that those who really want the betterment of this world must change their thought process, bring such a revolution in their lives that change their perception and conduct themselves in a manner that transforms this earth into heaven.
