When A lamp Is lit, darkness Automatically Vanishes
Soul exists in all irrespective of whether one wears a turban, cap, hat or has hair shaved off, a small child or an elderly person. That is how perception becomes soul wise. And soul wise implies strengthening the concept of ‘Oneness’. The slogan of Oneness was given meaning thereby oneness and intimacy i.e. all are a family and nobody is alien or a stranger. If I and he both are God’s beings, then we are members of one family. When one knows his real identity, all the walls of caste and creed, language and religion get razed to the ground. No effort is required to be made, rather the walls fall down spontaneously. For example, when a lamp is lit, darkness immediately and automatically vanishes. It is not that it takes time to dispel darkness after lighting the lamp. In this context there is an example in English which I narrate frequently. It is related to flower and fruit. When a flower grows into a fruit, petals of flower automatically fall down. The process of transformation of the flower into fruit is responsible for falling down of petals. It is not that the fruit needs to do some effort to pull down the flower petals. The whole process is spontaneous. When the lamp is lit, the darkness vanishes and in the same way, the walls with the soul wise perception the walls of language and religion get demolished spontaneously.
Not To Treat Anyone As Alien Or Other
Man reads and recites saintly teachings of tolerance and forgiveness but does not tolerate or forgive others. At times, people continue to hate and fight from generation to generation. Holy personages exhort man not to raise the walls of hatred and enmity. A poet has highlighted this state of mind thus: I have blocked my way, How will anyone approach me? What is meant that I myself stand like a wall and have blocked the way. Thus there are walls in the form of narrow-mindedness, stone-heartedness which have alienated us from each other. Not to speak of countries, we have raised walls even in the society we live in. Thus there are the walls all around. Holy beings assert that these walls shall have to be demolished so that man rises above narrow-mindedness and overlooks others faults. How important is forgiveness! In the current time, the mission has shown to the world how to forgive and not to treat anyone as alien or other. People have different degrees of understanding, outlook, evolution and ways of interpretation. Due to their narrow-mindedness and ignorance they have been committing wrongs. Of this state of man, a poet has commented thus: How difficult it is to dispense justice in the world, It is very easy to punish but very difficult to forgive. Only Holy beings have been setting examples of tolerance, broad mindedness and forgiveness.
