One Should Never Be Proud
It is often noticed that a person having education, wealth or physical prowess turns arrogant and egoistic. A drop of water of an ocean boasts as if it is the ocean itself. A poet has said: O horse-rider, on the way, you will find ruins and you should stop there. In other words, the ruins remind one of the fate of even the great ones. Everyone has to depart from this world, rich or poor, strong or weak. Lord Jesus said that one makes tall claims and is full of ego, while the truth is that one cannot prevent one’s black hair turning into white. Dyeing the hair is no solution: such change is external and not internal. Life is uncertain as is a bubble of water which comes into being and dissolves in no time. Holy beings teach that one should never be proud. One may be tall but one’s feet always remain on the earth. Progress is praiseworthy. India has also planted its flag on the moon as a few countries had done earlier. Despite such progress, one should not be oblivious of one’s origin. An aeroplane flies high in the sky, yet it has to return to the earth—base. One may scale great heights but one must not forget one’s base—humanism. Before attaining education, wealth and power, one should first be a human. One is a constituent of God and should give importance to this fact. Holy beings teach man to realize God and live up to the saintly teachings. Here, too, man is being inspired for God-realization.
Follow The Teachings Of Holy Beings
Due to greed, people kill even their near and dear ones. Human is conducting himself like a demon. Holy beings wish that, imbibing humanism, humans may tread the path of humanism—affection and fellowship. Earlier, the entrance of homes bore the inscription “Welcome” but now it bears the inscription “Beware of dog”. A dog may or may not bite but man shakes another person’s hand with one hand, hiding a dagger in the other hand! The aim of the Samagam is to inspire man to follow the teachings of the holy beings. Some are not prepared to live up to the teachings of the holy beings and thus harm themselves and others. Such ones have to pass through the eighty four lakh incarnations. Human life is meant to realize one’s origin to be redeemed, but due to his ignorance, man remains entangled in the birth-death cycle. God is formless-Nirankar-and all-pervading but people regard Him distant. Due to the veil of ignorance, the soul does not identify its Source or Over Soul. God is not distant but hidden behind the veil of ignorance. Besides, man remains engrossed in amassing material, which exerts a strong influence on him. What is needed is that we should be aware of the veil of the ignorance and meet a God-realized Satguru to remove the same.
