By knowing the composition of water that it consists of two gases hydrogen and oxygen and that its formula is H2O, is not enough until and unless we see water and drink it. Knowing its composition alone is of no use. Knowing a thing merely by its name is meaningless. It is therefore obligatory to know the Formless God as to how it is omnipresent. We make guesses merely on knowing name. If water is a liquid, there are so many other things that are in liquid form, but water has its own properties. So without seeing we can only make guesses. Mostly people are worshipping God according to their perception and so confine it to limits of being up above in the sky, in a particular direction, in the caves or in jungles. So man has heard of God’s name and makes only guesses about His identity. Saints and sages have described the attributes of God in holy scriptures. When a child or adult, brother or sister devotee speaks from this stage and refers to realization of God, they point at the target because they not just discuss about the God with such attributes as described in the scriptures but have perceived and realized Him with divine vision. There are no misconceptions regarding the soul because they have known their real identity. Just like Lord Krishna explained to Arjuna that this is the right way in which soul can free itself from this cycle of birth and death.
