It is already mentioned so many times that walls are being raised in the name of religion, leading to serious consequences. Just a minor collision between a cycle and a rikshaw, belonging to Muslim and a Hindu, respectively, leads to clashes and imposition of a curfew. There is no consideration that collision could be due to a dust storm, reducing the visibility. Where is the question of confrontation between the two communities? It is due to the prejudices, leading to fight, clashing and setting ablaze a whole locality, imposition of curfew and loss of innocent lives. It reflects narrow-mindedness. It is possible to live together if our minds are broadened. When the mind is broad, it rises above narrow considerations. Holy beings have led such enlightened life; and attained glory and acted as a catalyst to bring the people closer. In this way, holy beings inspire the people to shed their narrow-mindedness and instead imbibe broad-mindedness, love and compassion. Those who do so, never raise the walls of caste, religion etc. They realize the truth and thereby benefit themselves and others.
