We take to God remembrance based on our faith and belief. However, true devotion is one that starts after seeing the Supreme Being and loving Him without any ulterior motives. Otherwise, in this world, devotion can even be driven by fear. Behind devotion, there are often many selfish motives. Sometimes we make a business deal out of devotion, where one may ask for something from the Supreme Being in exchange for praising Him. True devotion is selfless, arising from pure love for the Supreme Being, without any desire or agenda.

May the Supreme Being instil wisdom, intellect and awareness in everyone, so that no one wastes their lives aimlessly and we improve the quality of our lives in this life time. It is essential for everyone to realize that they should not speak harshly to anyone and refrain from harbouring negative thoughts about others. Let everyone's lives be adorned with virtuous qualities, including mutual respect and reverence for all. When such sentiments prevail in our minds, we become human beings in the true sense.
